    THE ROLE:

Applicants for the Creative Consultant position must have formal design training, meticulous project management skills, and be well-versed in client communication best-practices.

Your role as the Creative Consultant will have you interfacing directly with our customers daily on their projects by sourcing, designing, pricing, and presenting product options, delivered as lookbooks for a wide variety of events and initiatives.

From the idea phase to placing an order, you’re there each step of the way to make recommendations, instill a sense of trust, and make sure that we’re meeting the client’s budget, goals, and timeline with your product curations.

Like any customer-facing role, you’ll need to be able to prioritize your work effectively to stay on-track for deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously with high-level accuracy, and maintain a genuine and helpful line of communication with customers at all times.

Success in the role is measured with accuracy on deliverables for our customers, daily time management fluency, and smooth communication workflows. This role is closely tied to revenue, so designs and product curations make up a large part of success in the role, as the lookbooks you create end up being the interface by which customers place orders with Telescope.

You’ll have a genuinely supportive team here at Telescope across departments. Effective communication and a desire to work collaboratively with our internal team and with your customers will make your time in this role a success.

We’re looking for individuals who live in Los Angeles, California and are able to work from our Arts District studio near Downtown LA. As a design studio that sells physical products, the Creative Consultant role requires in-person review of product samples, color-matching, and final sign-off on the items you’ve created for our clients.

Active participation to identify ways to improve your workflows and to bring innovation to your role are encouraged. As Telescope continues to scale, we’ll provide opportunities to grow within the company and hope to have team members that can see further than what’s currently in front of us, past the day-to-day responsibilities toward the future we’re building together.

If this sounds like a great fit for you, please review the below specifications for the role.
